PARTICIPANT TERMS & CONDITIONS, WAIVER & RELEASE

Acknowledgement of Risks, Injury & Obligations

I acknowledge that cricket and related training activities involve inherent risks and that my child, as a participant, may be exposed to dangers associated with practices, games, tournaments, camps, clinics, events, travel, and the use of indoor or outdoor facilities. I understand that my child may suffer physical injury, illness, permanent disability, or death, and that personal property may be lost, stolen, or damaged. I further acknowledge that injuries or damages may result from the actions of other participants, coaches, officials, volunteers, spectators, or third parties, from changing field or weather conditions, the use of equipment or facilities, or from the negligence or omissions of the Ontario Cricket Academy, its directors, officers, employees, coaches, volunteers, contractors, agents, affiliates, sponsors, or facility providers. I understand that emergency medical treatment or transportation may not always be immediately available. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child's participation and accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage arising from participation in Ontario Cricket Academy programs and events.

Release & Indemnity

In consideration of my child's participation in Ontario Cricket Academy programs and events, I hereby release, waive, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Ontario Cricket Academy, its directors, officers, employees, coaches, volunteers, contractors, agents, affiliates, sponsors, and facility providers from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from my child's participation or use of Academy facilities, including those arising from negligence, except where such liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.

Participant Responsibilities

I understand that my child is expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly while participating in Ontario Cricket Academy programs and while using Academy or partner facilities. Appropriate athletic clothing and closed-toe athletic footwear must be worn at all times. Participants are expected to respect coaches, officials, volunteers, staff, fellow participants, spectators, and facility users, and to follow all Academy rules, policies, safety instructions, and Codes of Conduct. The Ontario Cricket Academy reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent with the Academy's standards. I acknowledge that schedules, coaches, locations, and training formats may be modified due to weather, facility availability, tournaments, operational requirements, or circumstances beyond the Academy's control.

Permission to Use Photographic Images

By registering my child, I grant permission to the Ontario Cricket Academy to photograph, film, or otherwise record my child during Academy activities and to use such images, video, or recordings for promotional, educational, marketing, social media, website, and other Academy communications without compensation. I understand that group photographs or videos may be used without identifying individual participants unless otherwise required by law.

SECTION 3

PARTICIPANT DECLARATION & PAYMENT TERMS

By signing this document or selecting "YES" during registration, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant and have the legal authority to provide this consent on their behalf.

I certify that I have carefully read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the Terms and Conditions, Waiver and Release contained in Section 2, and I understand that these provisions affect my legal rights and those of my child.

I understand that registration fees, program fees, training fees, camp fees, and any applicable payment plan commitments are subject to the Ontario Cricket Academy's payment policies. Unless otherwise stated by the Academy or required by applicable law, fees paid are non-refundable. Where approved by the Academy, eligible payments may be credited toward a future Ontario Cricket Academy program. I further agree to comply with all Ontario Cricket Academy policies, procedures, rules, and Codes of Conduct throughout my child's participation.

By proceeding with registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of myself and my child.
