2011-2012 Fall/Winter Indoor Coaching Program

Our Fall/Winter program will reach out to players at various skill levels. From the beginner to the national level player- we will keep the player engaged and help to develop and enhance the skills required to be a true success at your level.

Apart from small group sessions, we offer individual coaching, to help the player improve and learn at a more rapid pace.

For beginners, we will focus on the basics of batting, bowling, fielding and wicketkeepng. Through fun and exciting drills and training sessions, the player will be able to grasp the fundamentals of the game.

For more advanced players, the focus will be on skills set improvement and an emphasis on fault remediation and preparation for the 2012 season.

Program Duration: November 16, 2011- April 30, 2012

Age Groups: U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19 and Senior

Schedule: Thursday evenings (6-9pm) and Saturday mornings (10am-1pm)

Location: 185 Carlingview Drive Unit 9 (just beside the airport)

Cost: $400, can be made by CASH, CHEQUE or by CREDIT CARD (Paypal-Online)

Other information:

*We will provide a training T-shirt to be worn at all practice sessions.

*Players will receive a Workplan and Bi-Weekly Progress Reports

*Special clinics and workshops will be held at no extra cost throughout the indoor season

Answers to some of your REGISTRATION and PROGRAM questions...

  1. Can I enrol after the deadline and/or start date (November 16th)?
  2. Yes, you may enrol in the program after the November deadline and start date. However, there is no guarantee that a spot will be available. If there are too many children already enrolled in an age group, the enrollments for that group will be closed. Cost will be decided after the official deadline.

 

  1. Does the OCAC provide equipment?
  2. Yes, w e have some equipment that can be used. However, it is recommended that you have your own for hygiene and comfortability. You MUST have your OWN abdo guard/jock strap.

 

  1. Is there a dress-code?
  2. Yes, the dress code is the OCAC Training Shirt that will be provided to you as part of your membership, and Dark Blue sport trousers or shorts. Those not in uniform may not be permitted to participate in training sessions.

 

  1. Do you provide scholarships for Indoor Training?
  2. Yes, we will consider very special cases for Indoor Coaching Scholarships.
