The U-13 A and U-15 team both made the play-offs this summer. While both teams bowed out in the Semi-Final and Quarter Final, repectively, they produced a high standard of cricket not usually seen in players of this age category. Coach Sunil Balgobin of the U-13 section, believes that "the experience gained by playing in play-off matches, will certainly benefit these youngsters". The U-13's (A and B) had some excellent batting performances by Abraash Khan, who registered OCAC's first century at the U-13 level (Nikhil Dutta nearly missed a hundred in 2005 when he scored 99* against Masters-Tranzac).As well captain, Emanuel Khokhar performed consistently throughout the year, registering 2 half centuries. In the bowling department for the U-13 B's Kishan Balgobin topped the league wicket aggregate with 13 and was ably supported by Abaan Khan with 8. Emanuel also took 12 wickets for the A's and was followed by Theron Ramlal with 9 wickets overall. The Under 15's produced good strong cricket, and look to be in good stead for the 2012 season.
